I bought this for my daughter who is a tall and slender 4.5 year old. I wanted it big so we can use it for two years and this is perfect! The Velcro tabs on the sides allowed me to fit it to her size so there are no gaps which was perfect (and were not on the other brand I ordered). Seems like it will be durable. Great jacket. My favorite carhartt style. Carhartt sizing always a bit of an adventure. I’ve worn everything from small to large. This jacket I went with small. I’m 5’-6” 170lbs. 42 chest, 32 waste, shorter arms which always puts me right smack between small and medium in Carhartt world. Maybe a smidge tight with small for layering but without layers its a great fit. Break in gives a little more room and flex. Medium could have worked but it’s a bit loose and saggy and has that more sloppy look without layers and I’m mostly just going to wear this guy with single layer so the small it is. - eric
