I stayed four nights at the Discovery. It is as a smaller single story hotel. The room is was fine, clean, and hot water. The bed was very comfortable. The restaurant was very good but expensive. Definitely a fine dining experience in Iqaluit. - jfbeidleman

This building is nothing on the outside but offers comfort and amazing meals once you check in.  The best place to stay in Iqaluit with charm and style.  Local game is often on the menu and you can try Artic Char, Caribou or sometimes Muskox.... - 859DebbieH

Were put up in this boutique-style hotel when our First Air flight back to Ottawa was cancelled outright. While the room was tiny it had all the amenities required and was very modern in design. Queen-sized bed filled the small sleeping area and bathroom 2 steps up (you're in Iqaluit where no plumbing runs underground). Was quiet and the dinner in the hotel's Granite Room was very nice. If I had no rental car while in Iqaluit on business I would stay here as I can walk to all of downtown and waterside. All cab rides are $7. - j_infinity_w
