"Stayed in Berlin for 4 days and Aigner was absolutely the best meal that we had.  I had the Aigner Schnitzel and my wife had chicken.  The schnitzel and accompanying potato salad was some of the best food that I have ever eaten.  So glad we chose Aigner's. Also ordered the chocolate lava cake and ice cream for dessert.  This place does not disappoint!" - Jesse C.
"When looking for an authentic German meal in Berlin, we had a bit of difficulty. One, because yelp isn't very big in Berlin and two, because reviews of places were always mixed. However, we did find Aigner on yelp and made a reservation after checking out the menu. The location is pretty central, being in the most beautiful square of Berlin: Gendarmenmarkt. We went to Berlin during the Christmas season, so we had a great view out the window of the Christmas market happening right outside. The staff was very lovely and helpful to American tourists who unfortunately only speak English. For drinks, I had the dry Riesling, which was crisp. My sister got the Apple cider cocktail with the champagne. They served bread with goose fat before the entrees arrived, and we quickly ate that treat. My sister got the Aigner Wiener schnitzel, which was classically yummy. I got the special, which was a roasted duck, with potato dumpling, sautéed greens, beets and and a roasted apple. It was absolutely delicious and I would recommend getting this, or even the roasted goose version of the dish. It felt very German-Christmasy!" - Alicia P.
"Visiting Berlin for the first time Walking distance from the Regent .. delicious food ." - Roz M.

"The owner had his birthday while we were there so the experience in the restaurant was extra nice. There was a good atmosphere. A small, cozy and warm atmosphere surrounds the restaurant. The waitress was informal in a nice, refreshing way. The food was good, truly Bavarian food." - Emma R.
"I read the Yelp reviews and made my way over here. This part of town has become my favorite area in Berlin. The restaurant did not disappoint. I was traveling alone and sat at the bar. I asked for tapas recommendations. I ordered three of the waiter's choice (that were vegetarian). I'm not sure what I got, but it all was *exquisite.* I also ended up in a multilingual conversation that was fantastic and we closed the place down. It was absolutely fantastic and I will come here again. Do know, it is quite small. I'm sure it can be impossible to get into in high tourist season or on a weekend. (I went on a Thursday in early September)." - David E.
"A little scary because it's outside the tourist area. Super cute and great beer. Not a wheat beer person and the weisbeir was amazing. The ipa and the dunkel were very good. We did German tapas...only to think that was a Spanish thing. I was wrong. The pretzel dumping was so good! I mean everything we had was very good. Veal sausage, Camembert, meatloaf and pretzel dumpling." - Kathleen M.

"A marvelous breakfast! Anyone staying within 10km of this buffet should be eating here to start their day. The assortment of cheese, bread and meats would be difficult to consume in one sitting, but regardless of what I put on my plate it proved delicious. The salmon and brie on a soft roll was my favorite combination out of their selection. Their omelet station was quick and attentive and I remain impressed with the fresh bread they had on display. I will be returning to this delectable buffet before my flight tomorrow!" - Gerardo M.
