"Word around town the best cheeseburger can be found at Au Cheval... Agreed! Everything was impeccable, just awesome attention to details. Buns were toasted on both sides, so the interior of the burger was not neglected which actually cools down the patties and becomes soggy! The patties were juicy but the most amazing thing about the patties were that it had a crusty exterior. This adds to the texture and without doubt a bit of char flavor too. The final touch is the cheese and house made Dijonnaise sauce. I prefer my burgers to come with sauces where the chef intentionally paired with his burger, rather than provide a bunch of selections at the table so you can drown their perfect burger." - Simon G.
"Came here at opening on a Sunday and there was luckily no wait. This place is known for its burgers which are juicy and have a great burger sauce, but the bone marrow is the star dish for me. So generous in portions and so flavorful with buttered toast and marmalade. The root beer on tap is also worth trying. Would definitely come again. I would skip the bacon next time though as it didn't add to the burger." - Tu-Quyen P.
"Hands down the best burger and so worth the wait! I'm not a huge "burger person" but I'm so glad we went!" - Chloe C.

"Always love stopping by maple & ash when I come in town but tonight was an especially awesome due to our fantastic waitress, Chloe! She has only been at the restaurant a few months but she was awesome and made the experience so fun! She was attentive, had a great personality, so sweet, and made some great recommendations. Thank you Chloe!" - Alyse D.
"This place was a cool vibe and I love the area it is in, a lot of great restaurants in walking distance. We ordered the ribeye and it was a little fatty for me but my bf loved it! The mashed potatoes were the best side item!" - Nicole B.
"Wow. This place never disappoints. My bf and I eat at steakhouses regularly (~5x/mo) and Maple is still our favorite. You do pay more than at other places, but the drinks, apps, entrees, and service will all leave you extremely satisfied. The pasta agnolotti is also a Chicago standout, I honestly think it's better than pastas at other Italian places." - Sean Y.
