It is my third visit to St. Anne's spa. This time I brought my husband because it was his Birthday. We had a wonderful time. Everyone was warm,  friendly and welcoming even the guest we met there. The improvements to the building and pools are quite impressive.  We recommend everyone visit St.Anne's spa. It is  worth it and then some.  We thank everyone for making our stay at St.Anne's spa  a memorable one.A - rennan09

We stayed as 3 couples each in a Deluxe K with Club Access.  Well appointed rooms with good storage and well lit bathrooms (didn’t love the pillows but never asked for a change.  If I had, no doubt it would have been accommodated).  Great amenities.  Everything you would expect of a premier Ritz.  However, the Staff made it EXCEPTIONAL.  From the front desk to the Club Lounge, the staff could not do more to make us comfortable.  The lounge was very well stocked, many great options with good food offerings and a well stocked bar.  Well laid out and never felt crowded.  Views were amazing.  Checking staff was excellent.  Despite our status, hotel was full and we weren’t upgraded but we didn’t really need it.  Location is very central to everything.  My only gripe (minor) was the Doorman.  They were not attentive or as helpful as we are accustomed to at a Ritz.  Wasn’t consequential for a two day stay.  Spa was nice and relaxing.  Massage was good. - rimavh
The Ritz-Carlton Visit, So we had another great stay at The Ritz, this time for my birthday, my wife was unable to join us so it was just myself and my daughter. We had decided this time to get the corner suite, initially without the club lounge access. After booking Shea from Guest Experiences had reached out to me, offering suggestions, booking us in to the newly opened Epoch, also bookings for TOCA as well pre booked, I had a lot of interaction with Shea prior to arrival. This was a new experience for us, a lot of text comms on booking and checking on our itineraries etc as well as emails going back and forward, which was a very nice touch.  Pre-booking reservations I think is a great idea. After a long Friday night drive through downtown traffic, we arrived fairly late and I checked in with Elizabeth, as I was checking in I  was surprised, pleasantly surprised to be greeted by GM Mr. Guillame Benezach who came over to welcome us and say hi. It was great seeing him again and he had gone through great lengths (through our comms) in putting wheels in motion to ensure our stay was great. Now, it had been some years that we had the suite and something was amiss, the room seemed a bit too dark although it was night time and some of the facilities in the room which were previously in the last suite, such as the TV in the bathroom mirrors and heated bathroom floors, also the dividing door was gone. It also looked like the mini-bar/honour bar had gone and a new design of what appeared to be an old style traveling case in place albeit with in-built mini fridge, tea and coffee station. Perhaps there is no demand for this anymore? Although I must admit having a full stocked honor bar is an awesome feeling but I guess people may just be asking an empty fridge to put their own drinks and candy’s in there. I also guess it makes things easier. The writing desk was also not in the main bedroom but in the joining section in-between the bedroom and the sitting area however it did have a built in make-up mirror/light with plug points in there, so fine for doing your make up, but no good for working and a bit weird that there were no power points at the desk top. I’m not sure if I could have routed my laptop to those points but I found some at floor level As a rewards member we had free wifi and it was fast and we were both able to watch youtube on both my own laptop and the TV’s. We had a couple of movie nights and pop-corn to boot which was fantastic. But I couldn’t still get the feeling that this was not quite right, I did want my daughter who didn’t remember her last trip to be as wowed and amazed as I was. Although that said she was actually amazed at the whole room saying how awesome the suite was and her jaw totally dropped on entering the room. Still, I went down to have a chat with Elizabeth who really understood what my concerns where and in true Ritz form, was 100% customer focused on trying to help out. I knew this experience could be better. At this point I met Shea for the first time, who had a lovely gift for my daughter and did explain the main changes in the Ritz and the room redesign but did want me to be happy with my room choices so she suggested a higher floor. I also reconsidered my option for the club lounge. Now this room had a totally different feel, much brighter and it was then that I realised that although the room layout was the same it was actually a brighter, lighter colour carpet that was different. This brightens up the room no end also the higher floor gave more light to the room the view was better and bingo like that we were set. (so tip one, you do need a higher floor, 19 or higher). Both Shea and Elizabeth really made my concerns not seem over the top, you are paying good money and they want you to be happy with the product. I remember apologizing profusely, I felt like some diva who wasn’t getting what she wanted LOL but no, they totally understood and wanted everything to be right, everything to be up to Ritz standard. We dined at Epoch that evening it was great to see Carleen and the food was out of this world. We decided to get best bang for our buck by doing 2 full days of club lounge and to be honest, you really have to think, when you do the math, the club lounge IS WELL WORTH it, you basically have food offerings 5 times a day. Unlimited soft drinks and alcohol, you are staying at a 5 star hotel, when you think for 2 people what you are paying for club lounge you are ACTUALLY saving money but it’s NOT just the food and drink offerings. You are paying for a little piece of relaxation you are dining in style, a beautiful view of the lake, attentive staff this…THIS you cannot put a dollar figure to the staff are able to secure discounts on attractions, make you out of this world cocktails, fantastic cappuccino’s, they offer suggestions and more ! You have to understand, YES you can go out and get a $20 breakfast BUT you are here to relax, enjoy and be pampered, this is what you don’t see when look at prices when booking. From Saturday to Monday we were pretty much stuffed with all the little food offerings. Often nipping up to grab a coffee, a candy or a pop, almost like nipping into your very own BUT well stocked kitchen for a bite to eat, and taking back some bagels or a pastry to your room after breakfast is a must. For the real true Ritz experience if you DO NOT GO club lounge you are missing out. This time round we didn’t go Toca, the offerings were not really to my taste, all though they all sounded exquisite, my daughter was more keen on going out and hitting the night life, although I knew the service would not be the same, my birthday dinner at Moxies which is just across the street was very "lackluster" but when you have an 11 year old fine dining is not really what they are after. Maybe next time. However we made it back to the lounge and Olga made a fantastic take on a Cosmo for me and of course who birthday needs cake when you have The Ritz desserts. I’m not sure why the Ritz Bar was closed, but that was a really nice buzzing place. Very bright and vibrant, a nice place for breakfast and lunch and to hang out in, maybe Epoch is the new Ritz Bar ? but as we had the club lounge we didn’t miss out. My daughter of course LOVED the hot tub and swimming pool and it was just great to relax, the remit for this weekend was RELAX, get pampered and celebrate, my wife def missed out on this weekend. Although there were some glitches and I do mean, very minor ones, the overall experience you just cannot beat, one thing that The Ritz has, it has fantastic grade A customer service EVERYONE you meet from the front door guy’s, the bell, the valets are all totally awesome I mean where else will you see a hotel GM come and greet you. Where else will you see guest experience staff who REALLY DO want to make your experience great. I’ve been to The Ritz now 5 times, by far my most favourite place to stay and relax. It is more expensive than most hotels but you have to understand this is a 5 Star hotel, If you can’t finance a suite go for a deluxe guest room you won’t be disappointed. If a suite YOU must get a high floor. And you MUST, absolutely MUST get club lounge access. I want to give a BIG thank you to ALL the fantastic and hard working Ladies and Gentlemen of The Ritz, the club lounge staff, Shea and of course Mr Benzech for taking the trouble to see that everything was perfect for us. I’m still eyeing up the banquet hall, maybe for a wedding LOL (mind you I have about 8 years to start saving for that!) I hope pictures will be posted here I have 2 video’s on “youtube”, so do visit me on adrianjayonline for those. - Z1460MIadrianj
