This is one of the cutest children suitcases I have ever seen whether its used for actual travel or sleepovers with friends and/or Grandma & Grandpa!! It's very sturdy - my two year old granddaughter rode around the house while straddling the suitcase. There are two zippered compartments, an area for the majority of clothes with a buckled strap as well as a small cosmetic bag - you know, for all of their toiletries!!! She did manage to fill it with a comb, tooth brush, toothpaste, chap stick, etc....All of the zippered compartments kept her busy for a good hour. Once she filled her suitcase with everything she could find she promptly announced "I'm ready"!!! The only drawback I found was the exterior zipper - I think from what I could tell the zipper needs to be pushed around rather than pulled which is a bit unusual but workable. I held off on purchasing this for quite a while, but thrilled that I finally decided to pull the trigger!! Don't hesitate. You won't be disappointed!!! - liz lowry
