Hotels as well as their staffs always try their best to offer all kinds of convenient services to make your feel at home.

If you know the details of the services, it may help you when you are in trouble during your trip.

Luggage services

Luggage storage before check-in and after check-out.

Most hotels will take care of your luggage even before the start of check-in time if it is on the day you arrive at the hotel, or after check-out if it is the day you leave the hotel.

Depending on the hotel, you may be able to leave your luggage in your guest room when your room is ready.

Receiving and Shipping Luggage

Many hotels will accept the luggage that you have sent to the hotel in advance or will ship it from the hotel. However, not all hotels will accept your luggage, so you will need to confirm in advance (by e-mail or phone, etc.) whether or not they will be able to receive it.

At this time, you will need to confirm the following:

• The size of the luggage
• The typee of bag
• The number of itemse to be sent
• The number of piecese of luggage to be sent
• The expected arrival datee of the luggage

When sending luggage, you may be instructed to write the date of your stay and your name in the remarks column of the slip, for example, "Staying on XXXX, addressed to XXX."

Make sure that the address and remarks column is written in such a way that the hotel can easily receive your luggage.

Some hotels will leave your luggage in your guest room prior to your arrival.

On the other hand, if you would like to send your luggage from the hotel to your home or other destination, just let the hotel front desk know and they will do it for you. If the hotel has a partnership with a delivery company, you can send your luggage prepaid.
