Just been for a weekend away here and it is excellent, Very quiet and peaceful and very picturesque, The wildlife is truly amazing and the view from the rental caravans are something else, 5**** and will definitely be returning very soon - brettw108

We had an excellent holiday in Silver Trees cottage (next to and owned by the holiday park) for a week. The cottage was immaculate, well equipped and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed all of the facilities in the covered outside area and looking at the very large garden. The hot tub was great after biking. The location is ideal for anyone liking mountain biking with red, blue and green routes and walking in Cannock Chase just across the road. The set up was similar to what we had stayed near before in Sherwood Forest. We were able to keep our bikes in the garage which was also ideal. We spent most of the week biking, walking or enjoying the cottage and garden but there was also plenty to do in the area with pubs, takeaways, deer on the caravan park, Lichfield and an outlet centre nearby. Just returned from a wonderful few days staying in Doe View Lodge and can highly recommend. Right from the very start we were given a warm welcome from the owners. They were very friendly and helpful. The lodge was so spacious, clean and well equipped and had the most marvellous views across the forest and the deers came right up to the lodge where we could even hand feed them with food which can be purchased cheaply from the site. There was a lovely veranda with chairs to sit and relax. There are shops quite near and plenty of pubs to get a meal. Would love to return one day. - Disneyland14
