This hotel is absolutely beautiful in every way. The rooms are cozy and clean, the views are unbelievable, breakfast is fantastic, and they take such wonderful care of you when you are there. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to the area, and even though there's an uphill walk from town to get there, the bus stops very close and you get a bus pass as a guest when you stay there! - mrsroy3755

We loved waking up to the Eiger mountain view every morning; it was just like living in a postcard. The room was of a good size and spotless clean. The booking also included a sumptuous breakfast, whilst dinner was served at an extra cost. We found this very convenient on certain days when we were too tired to go out to dinner after a full day of trekking / hiking. Classic Swiss hotel with a great view! We stayed 3 nights here in Grindelwald (my favorite town on our trip). We had an excellent view of the mountains from our balcony! I get hot very easily but even with no A/C in the record Europe heat this Aug, the room stayed cool with the windows open at night! I also liked that at breakfast each room has an assigned table! No getting your food and having to hunt for a place to sit like some other places. When I get to return to Grindelwald I will stay here again! - XDm4O
