"We tried this restaurant for the first time today. We had take-out of Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce, and Gnocchi with Rose Sauce. Both dishes were awesome! All of the pasta noodles are home-made, and so are the sauces. The elderly gentleman prepared the dishes after we ordered, and was very friendly and courteous, and treated us like family. The restaurant is very popular in the area (there were many take-out customers while we were there). Great food at very affordable prices. We'll be doing take-out from this place very frequently now. "Took me 5 mins to finish a plate of penne arrabbiata which was extremely delicious. When I came here the first time sauce was a bit watery with extra salt in but because it was closing time and the gentleman is senior I decided to give it another try. Man oh man, I was correct. The best home made sauce I had in a long time. I had the best tasting pasta. I make Italian sauces at home and I can tell that it's a home made sauce. Also, the pizza is extremely good. The base of the pizza (bread) could get addictive which you can't get anywhere else. The pizza is a thin crust pizza. The pizza crust gives sort of a smooth and crusty croissant taste which stays in your mouth for while. Place is run by a senior man who recommends ordering by phone because it takes him 20-30 minutes to make your dish from scratch. However, you can go their have a drink and relax while he prepares your meal. It's not a fine dinning place and the prices are less compared to other restaurants. A pasta dish will cost you $8-$10 depending upon the portion. Also, this place will make you feel like you are visiting your grandpa for a meal. Note: they close early, around 7-8pm. "This little place is the definition of a hidden gem. The husband and wife team (she's Nancy) make Italian food as down home as it gets. "Since recently moving to the GTA from New York City, as a foodie, I've haven't found an enjoyable slice of thin crust New York Style pizza until I tried this restaurant. Service- 5/5 The ladies at the counter were quick, courteous, efficient, and friendly. Food- 5/5 I only tried their NY style plain cheese pizza and it was on point. It's the first slice of pizza in the GTA that I genuinely enjoyed ever. The crust was perfectly baked (not too well done, but not soft or soggy), it had the right amount of sauce, and the right cheese to crust ratio. Ambiance- 5/5 It appears that you can dine in which is great since most restaurants since COVID only offers take out. The restaurant appeared spacious and clean. "Amazing customer service here as always. The New York Pizza is as close to as the ones in New York you can get in the GTA.  Veal sandwich is a light crisp and doesnt feel heavy/greasy.
