As we arrived on the bus after a long day of sightseeing with tired bodies and sore feet, the Taipei Garden Hotel in the Zhongzheng District, looked inviting and wonderful.   We had just concluded a 5-day trip around Taiwan from Taipei to Eluanbi Park (southernmost tip of Taiwan) and many places in between on both coasts.  For our last 4 days in Taipei, we wanted to be central to everything. Our room #1525 double was spacious and decorated in off-white beige color.  The bed was comfortable and I sleep very well.  The bathroom was modern with marble walls and floor, Japanese toilet with controls, and walk-in rain shower and bathtub. To-Gather Kitchen is as cozy and relaxed  buffet style restaurant serving cuisines from around the world, including Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Malaysian, Vietnamese, Italian and more. The colorful display of all dishes and ingredients is inviting. The many entrees and side dishes were both vegetarian friendly and vegan options The family friendly atmosphere and centrally location makes the hotel COMFORTABLE and CONVENIENT ... at the Taipei Garden Hotel. - Larry-Calif

Taiwan was a three day stopover on way from Manila to Busan. The place turned out to be a very pleasant surprise and a hidden gem generally overlooked by travellers. As expected in the Far East the hotel staff were super efficient. All the paperwork was in hand and I hthink check in took 4 minutes! As soon as we arrived in the hotel arranged airport transportation, the luggage was quickly removed and in less than ten minutes we were in the bedroom with the luggage! The location is not central but only took 15 minutes walk to the hub of the city. Breakfast was adequate, nothing special. Staff were always in hand to assist. Have to revisit Taiwan and do a more extensive trip, will stay at this hotel again. Its four star and well meets that rating. - JosephLondoner
