Every thing Was very good. Lots of shopping and really good prices. Don’t shop no where else. You do not even have to leave the Edmonton mall every thing is their you need.  Every kind of food you want. Lots of things to do for kids and adults.  - debbiemcnabb59
This was our third time staying at Fantasy Land Hotel WEM. The first time we had the Alberta Suite, the second time we had a Space Theme Room and this time we went with the Superior Roman. While the suite and theme room were amazing and we had no regrets, they can be quite pricey, but let me tell you I highly recommend the Superior 'Themed' rooms (which are offered in Princes, Roman or Polynesian). They are only $15-$30 a night more than a regular Superior room (the cheapest rooms in the hotel) and yet they are pleasantly themed (well done). Lots of space in these Superior rooms, very clean, your floor is themed (hallways). You get the theme fun experience for a way cheaper price but get all of the services including 50% off mall passes. LOVED IT....AGAIN. Highly recommended for the resort high quality feel and of course the fun, unique experience and CONVENIENCE!  - CuriousCanuk
Staff is really friendly and the hotel is right above the mall. If you are tired, simply go back up to catch tom Zzz, if you are ready just head down to the galaxy land to catch more fun. Overall hotel is clean and organized. But the price of the hotels sky rockets a couple of days before our trip and we didn't get to book the space theme... - sungyent

3. Blachford Lake Lodge

Let’s see how people review this hotel

We enjoyed the most marvellous three days here.  The main attraction was to see the Aurora, a long held dream, and we were luck enough to see a wonderful display on our first night.  It was quite wondrous and to see it in the absolute wilderness just outside our lodge was just perfect.  We had more Aurora the next night though not quite as vivid or extensive but the Lodge offers much more.  The three walking trails offer a wonderful feel of this remote area.  By October  when we visited most of the birdlife had migrated south but the walks are still great.  The staff are excellent and the meals were hearty and fulfilling. And my highlight, apart from the Northern Lights of course, was catching (and it's all catch and release) 9 Northern Pikefish (one of about 20 pounds) in about 75 minutes  on a fishing trip one afternoon, so don't let anyone tell you it's too late to catch fish in the lake in October!    This is a  "must do" trip and well worth the excursion north.  You'll see a different, but a fabulous, part of Canada - gregh628
My son and his fiance live in Yellowknife and took us out to the lodge for 4 days.  Winter is the optimum time to visit for the Aurora Borealis (Northern lights) viewing (as near continious light in summer).  They will wake you up if you request.  There are % predictions, but you never know when they will show and for how long.  There is a Sauna (in the bush) and Hot Tub by the lodge.  Track set cross country skiiing, a skating rink and hiking.  Lots of skates, skis and snowshoes to borrow.  Ice fishing is available.  Snowmobiling tours too (including novice tours).  The only way in is by float/ski plane - Twin Otter via Air Tindi.  You can snowmobile in, or ski/hike if you are nuts ;-)   All activities center on the lodge.  There are 5 guest rooms in the lodge and a half dozen cabins; well spaced, but close.  All rooms/cabins have at least a double bed and more bunk beds.  They could throretically fit 4-8 people in each room.  The cabins have electricity (lights and outlets), a sink with jug water, and a wood stove for heat.  There is an (totally) odor-free compost toilet.  The lodge is fully heated and has shared showers and running water.  This is "Rustic Chic".  The food is home style and excellent.  They can accomodate special food needs.  We had a Gluten-Free and a Peanut Alergy in our party.  Always listed GF Options and "No Peanut" items listed for each meal.  There is a well stocked bar in the lodge (good wine and a selection of single malts).   "Art" and other activites for adults and kids.  The staff are super-helpful and friendly.  Most of the staff are from outside of North America. - Oakville89
Beautiful rustic lodge on secluded Blachford Lake.  We live in Texas.  We made a visit to Blachford Lake Lodge in July 2022.  We have never been to Northwest Territories, Canada.  We only had the online reviews to determine if we would make the 3,200-mile trip.  So glad we did.  Best vacation ever.  the lodge's 5-star reviews were accurate.  Amy was helpful and offered information as we planned our trip.  We flew into Yellowknife and took the sea plane to the lodge.  Beautiful views, peaceful and remote surrounded by nature.  the small group of lodge staff were welcoming and very accommodating.  The lodge was comfortable and clean.  Tash wanted to make sure we were having fun and doing all the activities we wanted to do.  David made us three delicious meals each day.  Multiple food choices.  All were prepared fresh and so good.  We enjoyed the lodge's dining area.  The views of the lake are unforgettable.  the lodge rooms were better than expected.  We saw beautiful sunsets from the room's large windows.  The beds were comfortable.  there were many fun activities available.  We had much fun hiking, swimming, boating, and fishing.  The hot tube and sauna were wonderful.  We learned about native plants and made an incredible spruce salve.  You can stay busy or just relax and enjoy the unspoiled area around the lodge.  We loved seeing bald eagles and hearing the loons call over the lake.  We loved everything about our trip and plan to visit again.
