This hotel exceeded my expectations thoroughly. From the front desk to the valet personnel, everyone was a complete pleasure and happy to assist. The grounds were very well kept and our room was clean and cool. We had a great time at this hotel, plenty of places to walk to, and overall a great experience. We stayed at the Bayshore since the days of Trader Vic's. It is a Vancouver landmark and a majestic property on the shores of the Harbour and a breathtaking view of the mountains and ocean. It is a little out of the way of downtown Vancouver and a walk to go anywhere, so when the construction and renovations took over we chose other hotels. It is now completed and our first trip back was amazing and busy. The hotel now has a buzz as the place to be and the empty cavernous areas are filled with bars and restaurants. What a beautiful hotel in a wonderful Bay area of Vancouver. This hotel is situated right next to the scenic Stanley Park. It was so nice to be able to get up in the morning and walk to the park for some fresh air and exercise. There were a lot of bikers in the park as well, but they have their own lanes. Check in was easy and the front desk staff were welcoming and so nice! We ate breakfast every morning in the hotel restaurant. They have a delicious buffet, or you can order off of the menu. The staff at this restaurant are the best. They remembered us each morning and were always full of smiles and suggestions for our time there. They have a spa in the hotel, but sadly I did not get a chance to book a treatment there. It looked lovely, though. The outside pool area is beautiful and so relaxing! You forget you are in a large city. We loved our stay here! - Lisa964
