Hotels near the beach in Vancouver, Canada

What a great place to stay in Vancouver. We had a room at the front overlooking the beach so we had a fantastic view. The staff were great helping us out with our first visit to Vancouver and let us check in early too. The restaurant and bar on site are a bonus and you only need walk up the road for so many other dining choices. Check out the sunset each evening and easy access to Stanley Park. - Persia69
We love staying at the Sylvia.  The location is perfect and beautiful and the hotel has so much character and charm.  We had not been during the pandemic and we very pleased to see that the bathrooms had been updated.   Being located right across from the seawall and so close to the entrance to Stanley Park is wonderful.  It's also fun to watch all of the walkers and bikers go by.  It a busy area but the hotel is a peaceful oasis.   We also enjoy the restaurant and lounge with their great views. I could not recommend The Sylvia more.  You will not be disappointed - nwtraveler64
We have stayed at the Sylvia many times over the past year. It's history, location, food and customer service keep us coming back. It is literally steps from English Bay and Stanley Park. The restaurant has a great pub vibe with incredible food and unique cocktails. - K8480QXandrewh

Booked four nights and kept name of hotel  a "secret" from my Vancouver-raised husband.  12th floor offered exceptional harbour views, and the hotel did NOT disappoint.    Enjoyed watching cruise ships come and go and only a short walk to Pan Pacific to see them up close.  Keurig had 4-6 coffee/tea pods and easy to get more from Guest Services, although rooms are not refreshed unless one identifies this request on arrival.   Parking underground for happy (park free) Alberta Road Trippers worked out very well, as one can easily come and go during the day and up to 5pm on day of departure.  Tanay checked us in very efficiently.  Did not take in their generous Happy Hour from 3-6 daily but did indulge in their Sunday Night Prime Rib dinner.  (requested more gravy for the huge Yorkshire pudding).   Pool and hot tub were nice with gym also on 4th floor. - helenrJ2233WU
The pool and hot tub was nice. The restaurant had live music and friendly staff. The food was excellent! My room was nice and clean. Great location with a good view. I enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again.  - sonyan12345
We've booked this hotel for our 30rd wedding anniversary. It was the perfect place. We booked a room with the view on Coal Harbour. Everything was perfect : clean, silent, friendly staff etc You can  even rent electric bike at the front desk. Who could ask for more ?  - ericl114
