The hotel was excellent with very clean and well proportioned bedrooms and excellent bathroom facilities. The conference element was catered for very well with a good layout and food and beverages available constantly to an exceptionally high standard. - anthonythresh

Our second stay at The Grand Elysee and we are already made to feel like friends/family. Thank you Herr Bethke for the lovely personal note and the wonderful room allocation which assured a peaceful stay. I have to mention Sadif on the Reservations Team who was so helpful and friendly when our flights were cancelled last minute and Mohammed on the front desk who made a great impression on my elderly parents with his patience and happy nature. Breakfast was , as ever, terrific and although a few restaurant areas were temporarily closed ,we were looked after so well in the Boulevard. Having now been to Hamburg several times we feel like we have done much of the tourist stuff, but we have a reason to return again for many years to come...The Grand Elysee and its staff. This hotel is an excellent old-style hotel, quite removed from time itself. The staff is excellent and the hotel is immaculately clean and all surfaces in our room seemed entirely un-worn. Food and drink was top-class, especially the sashimi. As non-German tourists, we felt quite unique and at times the other guests showed a level of interest in us that was over the top.  - anders377t
