The hotel is located in a very nice and quiet location of Hamburg. With the nearby subway or S-Bahn all Hamburg attractions can be reached in a few minutes. The rooms are nicely furnished and modern. The hotel is clean and well maintained, which is very important to me personally. Great breakfast buffet! The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Nothing to complain about here...... As the Mercure hotel I booked at was closed (without any prior notification!!!), we were moved here and I was actually relieved as the Movenpick is a different ballgame than the Mercure. The staff both at check-in and check-out was GREAT. I can't say it enough. The hotel is in an old water tower which makes it an interesting landmark. There is parking inside and outside. I would stay here again and again. Congratulations to the staff for doing such a remarkable job. Vielen Dank! - degtravel
