I had a wonderful staycation at the Sophy Hyde Park. Their restaurant food was excellent, room was clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed seeing all of the people of color working in every area of the hotel and restaurant. - 450leer

I booked this hotel somewhat last minute while looking for a neighborhood to stay in Chicago, not downtown. This was an amazing hotel, it was beautiful and my experience with all staff was incredible. They were friendly and helpful above and beyond my expectations. I was nervous to stay at a hotel during the COVID-19 pandemic, but the hotel explained the measures they had taken and I felt comfortable throughout. The Sophy is really nice! The decor and vibe is great. The food at the Mesler was delicious and all the staff was was very welcoming! Prior to our visit we had not heard of the Sophy Hotel.
