We stayed for two nights in The Cottage and had a wonderful experience. Our visit was everything you would want: comfortable, quiet, lovely surroundings, and a delicious, made-to-order breakfast. Erika and Peter were so friendly and helpful with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. The jacuzzi was the perfect touch. Lovely wooded property with beautiful gardens in southeastern Connecticut, not far from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos and the pretty villages of Mystic and Stonington. We enjoyed staying in the first floor "Downeast" room which was spotless and beautifully decorated to fit its name, with many thoughtful touches. There was a private deck entrance with our own table and chairs. In the room there were two comfortable chairs by a working fireplace (wood and matches provided), a desk with chair, mini fridge and microwave. The queen bed was comfortable with beautiful bed linens. The bathroom had a large shower, fluffy towels, lovely toiletries and a hairdryer. Breakfast trays are provided in the room for enjoying wonderful breakfast options that are delivered to the door each morning at a chosen time. everything was delightful, including the innkeepers, Erika and Peter. We had a lovely stay at Abbey's Lantern Hill Inn in early August of 2022.  Our room was clean, nicely decorated, and quiet.  The bed was supportive and comfortable. The breakfasts each day were delicious, and we appreciated having them on our private patio. The care and concern of the owners was evident in all aspects of our stay.   We will definitely stay here again when we're in the area.  Highly recommend! - Janite555
