My family and stayed at the Bahia Resort Hotel for my team building experience. We arrived earlier than what was allowed for normal check-in, but the Resort accomodated us with holding our bags and letting us know they would allow us to check-in early if there was availability. The entire staff was knowledgeable and kind, but I have to give a shout-out to Daniel. He was so helpful to us once we received our room. We got lost and had a hard time locating the building we were in, he took the golfcart to locate my family and drove us directly to our door. Everytime he would see us, he would ask if we needed anything or if there was anything he could help with, including a ride. The beds are ridiculously comfortable as are the pillows. I inquired about those and Daniel helped me find out what type of mattress & pillows the resort uses. The food at Dockside was excellent, a little pricey, but good. The gift shop has everything in it in the event you forgot something like sunscreen or aloe. Excellent place to find the perfect gift for the loved one back home or for yourself too. The resort is about a mile from Belmont Park where you will find the beach, great food, excellent people watching, roller coaster, water park, zip line, and an escape room. We enjoyed an evening out on the Bahia Belle, which is a 45 minute ride on the local boat (50 Ton boat). It travelled along the entire inlet of the bay. Hands down the best part of the trip were the seals Bahia Resort takes care of. We spent our mornings drinking coffee and watching the two sun themselves, living their best lives. This was one of my top 5 trip with my family. I will definitely return. - HelloMrsRobinson72

We visited here many times and sent three different sets of friends here as well. There is something very special and unique about this place. On the Bay/Mariner with a 5 minute walk to the ocean! Always improving, changing, & renovating. One thing that is consistent - Heather Lawlor. There’s no surprise that most of the staff is friendly, professional, and hardworking, the ones which shine the brightest must have been hired by Heather or someone with Heather’s stellar qualities of customer service. Just to mention a few, Manjoladuwa, Madelyn, Trey, Rachel, Esther, & Lily! The newly revised housekeeping team is fantastic. Three people work together and replace and replenish and empty all towels, trash, water bottles, coffee, & shampoo etc., all in 10 minutes! My wife and I just came back from one of our best vacations ever. We spent 5 days at the Bahia Resort Hotel and had a blast, however there was one hiccup. We spent about 20 minutes searching for our room (the room numbers should be larger) and finally went back to the lobby for help. Supervisor Inez apologized for the inconvenience and immediately upgraded our room for a reasonable price. Hayden grabbed our luggage and took us directly to our room. I offered to tip him and he refused saying he only wanted to make sure our time at the hotel was excellent. Given my bad knees, we used Hayden and Jordon to transport us several more times and they were great. We had a Suite right on the beach and it was fabulous. The amenities were excellent and the food at the Dockside 1953 restaurant was fantastic. The area around the hotel was very nice but Bahia still provided helpful security that patrolled the property.
