Fantastic view and location to anything worth seeing in San Diego.  Easier access to locations away from the marina then the other "convention" hotels. Roof Top lounge is a "Must Do" whether you're staying at the hotel or not.  - 578mick

When arrived asked if we wanted daily housekeeping, we said we did but they never came by.  After the second day we had to ask for clean towels.  They did finally bring the towels, and said to leave dirty ones by the door!  We expressed out disappointment when checking out.  The rep immediately got a manager, he came out and apologized for what happened and thanked us for letting him know.  Then proceeded to compensate us very generously and hoped we will come back again. We've stayed here before, it's a beautiful hotel and in a great location. Hyatt is definitely one of my favorite hotels.   - carolea494

The staff was very warm and inviting. I was greeted upon my arrival by Ryan at the front desk. She made sure everything I needed was taken care of. The beach area was beautiful and relaxing. The restaurant was excellent with a nice selection of appetizers and entrees - and the sushi was excellent. - SKYMAN65

Except for the last two, really hard, years, we have stayed here every year for our family vacation. The hotel is absolutely fantastic, perfectly located , and the customer service is exceptional. One employee in particular, Diante, went above and beyond to ensure our return stay was especially fabulous! He is a joy to talk to, was super informative, and is a tremendous asset to The Catamaran. - 279ashp

My husband and I stayed here just for a couple of nights before we headed to LA it was so beautiful! I would love to come back sometime! The beach was right there and the pool was so clean! We didn’t have time to explore so we hope to come back next year! Chuck was our Valet and he was the BEST!! - melissamC9039EX
