We stayed in a room in the W area for three nights in September. The room was spacious and clean with a nice patio and was lovely and quiet. The staff in the bar and restaurant were really friendly, out of all the places we stayed on our California trip they seemed the happiest to be at work which is really nice to see! We loved the sunset viewpoint and the Wonders of Yosemite day trip we did with Jim. The spa pool was a lovely place to relax after a day’s hiking. We ate in the restaurant each morning and evening and there’s a small store where you can buy provisions for a picnic lunch. - Divingbecs1

More than just a place to stay, Evergreen Lodge is a destination itself. Every aspect is well thought out. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The grounds are well laid out and you feel at home among the trees and wonderful atmosphere. The food is excellent and reasonably priced for the quality and quantity. It’s right outside Yosemite and they offer great advice on your visit to the park. The evening campfires and s’mores were a great touch to cap off the day. - RonGCSR

Loved our time at Evergreen. Friendly staff, loads to do on site, close enough to Yosemite. You can tell thought and care has gone into the guest experience. Small issue in cabin resolved quickly. Hot tub excellent! Minor point - restaurant was out of stock of the most popular dish, covid policy still (?) in effect resulting in less tables per night and clearly understaffed. the staff point may have been on our specific days, so I will excuse.
