Stayed for 3 nights and loved it. The B&B is in a perfect location right in the middle of the old quarter. There are many restaurants and shops right around the corner, and a little convenience store right down the street where you can purchase drinks and snacks to enjoy on the terrace at the B&B. The rooms are comfortable and have everything you need, and the breakfast supplied each morning is good and includes cereal, toast, eggs and cheese and a different cake each morning. Would definitely recommend. I should mention that if you have issues with stairs you probably shouldn't stay here. There are two rooms on the ground floor, but even if you requested one of these, there are about 6 stairs to get inside the B&B. - Muzz01
Great B&B in a great city at a great price.  Castel is a gem and well deserving of its ultra high ratings. Owner Jolanta sets it apart and ensures a flawless stay.  I base my purchases on value, and I can't imagine a better value for a quality stay anywhere in Quebec City. - AreyouJackie
I had a really lovely stay at Castel d'Amérique Française. It is very centrally located near a street with restaurants and other attractions. (Take a tour of the Morrin Centre if you can.) The room we had, Radisson, was gorgeous and inviting. I had to conduct a video meeting during my stay and found the internet fast and reliable. The beds were very comfortable, to the point where I want to ask Jolanta what brand the mattress is. It was the most comfortable bed on my entire trip around eastern Canada. The breakfast included hard-boiled eggs, an array of bread, jams, cereals, and even homemade fruit loaves and local cheeses. Guests have full access to the dining area for after-hours tea and coffee, as well as the lounge area behind reception and the rooftop deck. Jazz or classical music playing in the common areas adds to the relaxing ambiance. It is a fantastic place to "come home to" after full days of playing tourist. We stayed here for three nights and couldn't have asked for better accommodations. - bottlerocket26

The delightful person who waited our table, Victoria, came with experience to this new diner. It is in the location of what was another local hang out. The decor is new and fun, music 50s/60s but not obtrusive, there is a pleasant diner vibe, but
