We spent 3 days at Menzies Manor, and we had the chance to occupy the penthouse.  Check-in was expertly arranged by Mike and from the moment we walk into the condo, we knew we had hit the jackpot ! We are a couple with an older son who lives in Victoria, and the two bedrooms with their own separate bathrooms were perfect for us.  We ate in (why we rent condos) and the kitchen is just fantastic, with everything to cook or bake at your disposal.  We made great use of the covered terrace with the widows opened.  The BBQ is hooked up to the city gas so there is no chance to run out ! Parking looked daunting at first but there is ample room in there, and this is parking that is right behind the unit, close to the back stairs, so no need to get through the side (main) entrance with luggage and groceries. All in all, a perfect place, close to the ocean and 2 blocks from Beacon Hill park, within the super quiet James Bay area.  A perfect place to go …. We will certainly go back if the need arises ! - 897benoitd

We visited in July 2019 and had a lovely time. The apartment is spacious with beautiful new furnishings, a porch to watch the people go by, and even an enclosed back patio where you can have your breakfast in the sun (or even when it's raining!). Easy to walk to all of the downtown sights, and also to Beacon Hill Park. The apartment is only steps away from a waterfront trail that leads to the park and to the cruise ship harbor. The owner is very nice, stopped by to make sure everything was okay, and obviously takes great care of the place. Highly recommended! - P5192CBbarbarah

Menzies Manor is in a great location with Beacon Hill Park and Downtown in easy walking distance.  Food shops a block away and the apartment had everything you could need to either prepare a meal or heat up something from the deli.  The apartment was very clean, spacious and well equipped. Very reasonably priced.Highly recommended! - fryfam
