As advertised and previously reviewed, and better. Spacious super-clean accommodations, quiet area, fabulous gardens, welcoming hosts and breakfasts to die for. Beach steps away, nearby hiking, and less than 30 minutes from Victoria Harbour. We hope to return. - TulsaKevink

Wow. It's hard to imagine a Bed and Breakfast getting any better than this: lovely, flowered and landscaped grounds; large, sunny, charming suite; quiet location close to a beach and excellent cycling trail; delicious gourmet breakfasts; warm-hearted, generous hosts (Sandy and Heather) with whom we laughed way too much; and three adorable Golden Retrievers. The highest praise you can give a place like this is to sincerely say, "We'll be back!" And we will. We're already booked for next year. - davedjf

Wits End Retreat is truely one of a kind bed and breakfast. Heather and Sandy have created an oasis which we are so fortunate to have experienced. The suite is private and serene looking out onto the gorgeous garden which was in full bloom! The coffee/tea and breakfast was gourmet and divine. Sandy's culinary chef expertise is obvious in every dish and Heather's poached pears was a favorite ;) They put so much care into every detail to make for a really wonderful stay. We really felt rejuvenated at the end of our stay and will definately come back to Metchosin! - Atussa
