We stayed at Carenes amazing home in Fisherman’s Wharf for three nights, and loved every minute. We had the Poppy room, which was a really good size, and the little balcony over the water was perfect to sit with a glass of wine, or to enjoy takeaway. There are just two guest rooms - so book early! We loved staying in Fisherman’s Wharf, great food and views, and feels a million miles away from downtown Victoria- though you can walk in to town in around 20 minutes along the waterfront. Carene provides tea/coffee in the room, and a voucher to go to Imagine studio cafe just over the park for breakfast. Their breakfast is really good, as are all the people who work there and their ethos. We ended up not being able to resist their cakes/pastries to takeaway too. Such a peaceful place to stay - even when the Wharf is busy during the day. The Wharf is locked at night, and you have a code to access the dock, so totally quiet at night. Carene provides a parking permit for use during the stay. We saw sea otters and even a raccoon when we were sat on the balcony. Would love to stay again when our travels bring us to Canada. - LoveourHolidays_10
What a great experience. Comfortable and excellent location. Worth every penny! A unique place to stay. Breakfast voucher at a local cafe was within walking distance and absolutely delicious. Wish we would have stayed a few more nights. - ColleenC324
What a wonderful place to stay. The host was warm and friendly and a great help with the surrounding area. Our room was wonderful, we stayed in the poppy room. So bright and cheery. Close to all that you might want to see. The water taxi was so cool. We went to the end of the line and walked back along the harbour. So many things to do and see!  Choosing where to eat is hard with so many wonderful places all around! - Q4603MJtracyp

The delightful person who waited our table, Victoria, came with experience to this new diner. It is in the location of what was another local hang out. The decor is new and fun, music 50s/60s but not obtrusive, there is a pleasant diner vibe, but
